This is the UK Snowboard Shop

Welcome to the Snowboarding Shop

We have the Snowboard gear to hit the slopes looking cool as funk. Basic stuff you will need includes thermal tops and pants, these will keep you warm and they are lightweight, you don’t want to wear loads of t shirts because they will restrict your movement and can make you sweaty.

Good Socks are important; you don’t want your feet rubbing in the boots.  I usually wear a neck warmer if it’s really cold or windy.  A good Bennie / hat is also a must.  A large percentage of people are now wearing helmets; it’s a good idea to protect your head.

When choosing goggles you need to make sure you have the right Lens, they come in many colours for specific light conditions; you will need the right Lens to see properly and to keep your eyes protected.  Loads of people also use Sunglasses especially when the weather is good.

You will need to find comfortable Gloves, I have used Burton Gloves for the last few seasons and they have been very good in keeping my fingers warm and they use good breathable materials.

A Good Jacket is important; they are usually all Windproof, Waterproof & Breathable. The snow skirt / belt is great, it stops the snow coming in the bottom of the Jacket.

Burton Ripcord Zero Camber Snowboard, 159cm, 2017 £174.97 RRP: £249.9530% Off SAVE £74.98 The easiest and most friendly all mountain board you can ride for any progressing riders out there. Size:159cm Colour:Black Deck, Black/Red BaseYear:2017Product Code:125522 – Please quote if you phone or email The 2017 Burton Ripcord snowboard is perfect for all new comers that need that extra guidance to tackle the mountain with tons of confidence, while keeping a steady and manageable speed. This board will help you understand the fundamentals of riding all over the mountain with its ability to turn easily over bumpy terrain, tackle powder and even slide through the park. The Ripcord comes with Burton’s most durable FSC certified Fly 900G core which uses two different wood species in a full tip to tail core that is 10% lighter than previous cores but with a greater strength to weight ratio. This core also comes with tons of pop and a smooth consistent flex that you only get from full wood cores. Added to this is Squeezebox Low which profiles the core with thicker and thinner sections. This gives stiffer zones just outside the feet and thinner sections between the feet which gives the board a softer flex with more direct energy transfer. This means the Ripcord is super lively but incredibly easy to ride. This aids progression through better balance and improved board control. If you are tired of learning to ride on rubbish rental snowboards then the Ripcord is the best choice for its affordability and ease of progression. It’s fun, playful, easy to manipulate, has tons of stability and you will feel relaxed and chilled knowing that you will have a responsive, durable, catch free ride across the entire mountain. Features Include FSC Certified Fly 900G Core – Burton’s classic tip-to-tail wood core that utilizes the best of two wood species to lighten the load by 10% without sacrificing flex, pop, or strength Squeezebox Low Core Profiling – Improves pop and performance through the balance of thicker, more powerful core sections with thinner, more flexible sections. Rider energy is transferred outward from beneath the feet, energizing the tip and tail while making the board snappier, more stable, and easier to manipulate Easy BevelEdge Tuning – Gives riders an incredibly soft and forgiving board that’s virtually impossible to catch an edge on. With a convex base that lifts the edges off the snow and a super soft flex, these boards make it easy to learn balance and board control Biax Fibreglass – Features a jib-friendly, torsionally soft flex and forgiving, easy to ride board The Channel – Rather than using a 4×4 system, Burton have introduced the Channel system which allows you to fully adjust your stance width and angles. Your bindings will have to be compatible with the Channel and conversion discs can be bought separately. Burton offer a 3 year warranty on all boards with the Channel The Lowdown Rider Profile: Beginner / Intermediate Mountain Profile: All Mountain Camber Profile: Flat Top with Easy Bevel Shape: Directional Base: Extruded Flex: Soft Condition: Brand New – Factory waxed Binding Compatibility: Requires bindings compatible with EST/ICS mounting system. ReturnsWe are an established UK retailer, with a bricks and mortar shop and have been trading online since 2004. Customer returns are not, therefore, a problem. All we ask is that you open a returns request through eBay. This can be done by finding the item in My eBay under Purchase History and selecting Return this item from the More actions drop-down. Please do not return parcels without contacting us first because we have several warehouses and we need to tell you where your items should be sent. Failure to comply could result in your parcel being sent to the wrong address and, under these circumstances, you may not be refunded. Ordinarily you will be refunded within 7 days of us receiving your parcel. We will not refund any customer until the parcel has been safely returned to us. Full terms and conditions for returns are listed on our Absolute-Snow website. FAQQ1. Why are some prices cheaper on your website than on ebay? We constantly lower our prices to make sure we are the cheapest online but because of restrictions imposed by ebay, we are not able to do this for items we list on ebay, sorry. Q2. Why does your website have way more products than your ebay shop? We typically have over 30,000 items in stock but ebay places restrictions on the number we can upload at any one time. Bizarre but true! Q3. Will you accept offers? We believe our prices are the lowest on the internet. We price check all our competitors every week. We will price match if you find a better offer elsewhere. Please send us a link to where you have found it cheaper.
